Soccer Referees Association
Brampton Branch
History
Who are We?
Our Association or Soccer Referee Association Brampton Branch exists to promote the interests of Referees, specifically in our District but also in the Province of Ontario. We are members of Peel Halton District Association (PHSA) , and by affiliation to PHSA we are members of the Ontario Soccer Association.
Brampton and District is a small but active branch of approximately 100+ members. Our members represent a wide range of experience from entry level District Referees up to Provincial and also includes Instructors and Assessors. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Branch to turn to when help and advice are needed.
From January through May, we meet every other Monday at The Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club, 185 Advance Boulevard, Brampton (one block south of Steeles and Dixie).
Our Meetings
Our meetings start at 7pm and are usually finished by 9pm.
Our agenda allows for branch business to be conducted, a training module, and discussion and exchange of ideas and experiences on the art of refereeing.
Complimentary coffee, water, juice and snacks are available throughout the meeting.
We are able to provide education; training, mentoring and in-house assessment on an ongoing basis for new members and for referees wishing to up-grade.
